Mark Travis is currently a freshman at Ohio University majoring in Online Journalism at E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. Travis started writing back in 2008, when Michael Crabtree and the Texas Tech Red Raiders inspired him to start his own website. Mark’s first site, But The Game Is On, got him his first media credential in the summer of 2008 when he covered the Corpus Christi Hooks, the Houston Astros Double-A affiliate. Travis gained media access to Team USA Basketball, NIKE and the NBA in the summer of 2009 and has interviewed the likes of Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant and many other NBA stars. In 2011, Travis partnered up his site with Big Lead Sports, the fifth largest sports property on the internet. You can follow him on Twitter @Mark_Travis.
