The Playoffs seem to have gone on forever, it seems, but the Finals are almost over before they started. The Kings and Devils played close in the first two games in New Jersey, but it was a completely different affair in Los Angeles, as the Kings ran the Devils out of the building.

The Kings have out turned a corner, really ever since the trade deadline when Jeff Carter was added to the roster. They have done big things on the penalty kill, and have become responsible on the back check. Anze Kopitar has become a star in the post season, as many thought he might be when he first came into the league. The real star that has been made this post season thought, has been Jonathan Quick. Among the reasons they have been so good on the penalty Kill? Efforts like this during a 5-3 versus the Devils in Game 3

 

Game 4, perhaps the final game of the NHL season, is Wednesday night.
