The Devils and Panthers are about to head to overtime to finish off the first round (I’m sure we will have an update when that comes to pass.) Of course, the pressure of a game seven affects everyone differently. For example, Tomas Kopecky was flying around the ice with reckless abandon. Note how he blows up teammate John Madden, leading Madden to leave the ice for stitches (in case you couldn’t tell by the blood on the ice)

 

Sorry for the French. Incredibly, Madden made it back to the ice, and the Panthers have made a game of it, coming back from two down. The entire playoffs so far have been full of overtime, so there is no reason the last game of the first round shouldn’t feature a little extra hockey.
