Mikkel Boedker Does it Again
The path to the second round is apparently through Corey Crawford’s 5 hole. For the second game in a row, the Coyotes and Blackhawks went to overtime. And for the second game in a row, the game ended on a goal that could only be described as “ugly”. To wit:
Mikkel Boedker looked like he lost control of the puck, but it went between Crawford’s legs. It’s hard to say it’s uglier than the goal Boedker won with in Game 3, but why split hairs? After a tough 60 minutes in each game, the old maxim was proven true. Just throw it at the net, and you never know what might happen.
